Guyan Strengthens IP Portfolio with Patents for Sulfide and Halide Solid Electrolytes

2025/12/27

Shenzhen Guyan New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (Guyan), are pleased to announce progress in our intellectual property strategy for solid-state electrolyte core technologies. We have filed several invention patent applications, including "A Halide Solid Electrolyte, Its Post-Processing Method, and Lithium-Ion Battery" and "A Sulfide Solid Electrolyte, Its Preparation Method, and All-Solid-State Battery." This expansion of our IP portfolio focuses on two key solid electrolyte material systems—sulfide and halide. Our core technologies enable efficient batch preparation of solid electrolytes while significantly improving material performance, thereby strengthening the technical foundation for solid-state battery industrialization.

As critical materials for solid-state batteries, sulfide and halide solid electrolytes are a major R&D focus in the global new energy battery sector due to advantages such as high ionic conductivity. However, conventional preparation processes often face industry-wide challenges, including low mass-production efficiency, insufficient product performance stability, and high costs, which hinder the scalable application of solid-state batteries. The invention patents we have filed represent our technological breakthroughs aimed at addressing these specific pain points.

As a leading domestic enterprise in the sulfide solid electrolyte field, we consistently prioritize core technology R&D and intellectual property strategy. We have accumulated numerous patents related to solid electrolytes, forming a comprehensive technology system covering material formulation, preparation processes, and supporting equipment. This latest expansion of our patent portfolio not only reinforces our technological moat but also addresses gaps in the field of efficient, large-scale production, enhancing our competitive position in the industrialization of solid electrolytes.

Amidst the global new energy vehicle industry's accelerated transition toward electrification and intelligence, we leverage our core R&D strengths to effectively enhance the mass-production capabilities and product competitiveness of our solid electrolytes. This provides core technical support for our subsequent scaled capacity expansion and the development of partnerships with high-end domestic and international clients. Moving forward, we will continue to increase our R&D investment, deepen our patent strategy, and promote the industrial application of more core technologies. These efforts aim to support the domestic supply chain in achieving greater autonomy in core battery materials and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.
